Last 2 weeks, while I was busy in the office finishing my report, I received a phone call from Clinique staff informing that I am one of the winner for the category. I was almost fainted. Lyke seriously???!!! First is because I got scolded from my dad for entering the make over and after that i never wish to win this competition and second is that upon winning the prize worth RM2k, they would like to do an interview session + taking pictures of the 4 of us to be featured in The Star newspaper on 1st of January. I was lyke OhhMyGod! My dad will kill me for sure.

Anyway, after 3 days of thinking... I decided to proceed with the interview session cause this will be the first and last for me.. It gonna be a new experience with the media and at least I could learn how the media is working. so, why not?

The session was held at Clinique Store, Pavillion, Bukit Bintang.

Lipstick super merah and make up sangat tebal. So not me. Tapi photoshoot punyer pasal.. terpaksa layankan jerk.. and yes, double chin. Terima Kasih.

Its January 1st, 2012 today. A new day, A new year, A new chapter of life.

I'm a year older next June and it's freaking me out. I had a blast 2011 which makes me hard to say Goodbye. Ive learnt more about life, appreciate life through unexpected experiences and life experienced has taught me to become closer to my one and only lover, Allah SWT. Thank You, Allah SWT!

I don't have bundle of wishes in my head so far but the only thing I can think of is that, I hope I am able to make a wise decision without hurting anyone.. and yes, to travel the world.. How i wish i have gazillione of money inside the bank..!

White Gold? or Solid Gold?

I often ask my girl friends, what type of ring you want your partner to give you. Will it be white gold or solid gold?

If you ask me, i would definitely go for white gold coz it looks nicer... but 99% of my friends have the other thought:- white gold is expensive and has no value in return. Why should waste money on things that won't bring value to us? no value to trade in or even gadai the ring when you are desperately in need of money. I would agree on the value part.

Come to think about it twice? Who on earth would dare to trade in or gadai your own wedding ring???! You'll only get engaged/married once, honey? trade in or gadai thinking shouldn't be slipping through your head, should you? (O_o)"

Thus, be it white or gold - wedding ring is the most sentimental value that one should keep for the rest of her life.. not to be sold, trade in, gadai or wuteva you wanna do with it. It is strictly a big NO. *groan*

It has been 2 days in a week ive been dreaming about my days back in Italy. I don't have any idea. All that i know is, everytime when I am stress with something, Ill tend to think of going somewhere far so that i wouldn't bump into any familiar faces and I can be all alone to reshuffle back myself.

Come to think about it, NO, I am not stress at all this week (minus my growing wisdom tooth-it was damn painful on day 1, but i can now handle it).. unnecessary stress, maybe?! -__-"

I even dream about Daniella, my tuition teacher. My mom said when we suddenly dream of someone, probably it is a trigger sign for us that MAYBE that person is sick/ill or maybe i just missed her a lot ;(

I gave Intan a belated birthday treat at Sushi ZanMai, Sunway Pyramid yesterday. The best sushi restaurant ever!.. Niat di hati nak belanja Intan, tapi I yg beria suro dier pilih Sushi Zan Mai restaurant.. hehe.. Luckily Intan agreed. ;) (If you penah read my previous post, Intan is the person who introduced me to sushi ZanMai last year that made me addicted to it until today.. (^__^)

Homemade Bruschetta

Lemme show you my very own way to prepare bruschetta. I simply called it bruschetta coz it looks pretty much lyke bruschetta.. Since i cudn't find any suitable name for it, how about we just call it Bruschetta.. easy. ;)

Preparing bruschetta is so simple that a toddler can also do it.

All you need are: bread, garlic (any amount), tomatoes, butter (any brand)

1) Chop the garlic into small pieces and place them in a container. Scoop the butter and place it in the same container with the garlic. The amount of the butter is solely depends on you or if you do not know how to estimate it, just scoop the butter until it could cover all the chopped garlic.

2) Spread the garlic+butter on the bread and place the bread in the oven for 5-6 minutes depending on the temperature you've set.

3) While waiting for the bread in the oven, you can start chopping your tomatoes into dice.

4) When the bread is done, just spread the tomatoes on the bread. FINITO! ;)

You can always modify your bruschetta by adding oregano or basil.. or pepper, salt, olive oil.. or anything.. My mom used to eat the bruschetta with eggs or fish for added protein.

There you go, my homemade bruschetta. Its simple, fast, fresh, delicious, and on top of that... its HEALTHY!..

Encik * : hurm, break nanti nie awak nak kuar tak?

Me: tak kot, saya duduk office jerk

Encik * : Nanti saya call awak untuk alihkan kereta sebab saya nak keluar untuk sembahyang jumaat. Dalam pukul 12 nanti saya call.

Me: OK. Nie phone number saya......

I waited, until 1.15pm.. but i didn't hear my phone ringing. Confidently assuming that Encik * has gone for friday prayer (without even looking if there is/are any misscalled/msges on my phone), i straight away go for lunch. To make things worse, i didn't even bring along my phone with me.. (my usual habit)

selingan - sila la tahu sesuatu tentang saya : *****My phone is on silent mode most of the time & i rarely bring my phone with me when i walk around in the office - see the bosses, washroom, friends' cubicles, canteen, photostat machine, to make it short.. my phone is never with me at all time. Not that i hate the fast growing technology, its just that i hate the noise of ringing cellphones either from me or anyone else, plus it isn't pretty convenient for the phone to be in my pocket 24/7. As a result from my so-called bad habit - I need to call back all the miscalled number I received incase they needed my help urgently (eceh, mcm penyelamat la pulakkan?)*****

.... so, wut happened today is that, after i went back from lunch, i took a look at my handphone which was inside my handbag and to my surprise, i saw 12 missed calls!! Ya Allah, serious rasa bersalah giler.. the first call was at 1.06pm whereby during that time I was still at my place doing my work.. and my phone was on silent mode... yeah 'Great' -_-". and the last call from Encik* was at 1.31pm.. lagi la rasa bersalah.... confirm dier tak dpt pergi solat Jumaat sebab my car is blocking his car. Ya Allah, berdosanyer,... betol2 rasa nak nangis... saya betol2 tak sengaja.. * a long sigh....*

Lesson learnt. Till then. ;(

I've just taken my blood test result, and as expected, my chols is high. sigh. Higher than last year. a long sighh.. Weird, no? im still young, i sometimes exercise, control my food intake (do i?) but still my chols is high. hurmmm...... neway, it runs from the blood. Hafta accept that it is somehow part of genetic and part of eating nonsense.

What is cholesterol?

Cholesterol is a waxy, fat like substance that is found in your blood and in every cell in your body. it is essential to your health as it is required by your body to form certain tissues and hormones. However, if your blood cholesterol level is too high then you may be at risk from heart disease.

Are there different kinds of cholesterol?

Yes, there are but most commonly known types are

1. Low density lipoprotein or LDL Cholesterol

Excess LDL cholesterol builds up wintin your arteries and may lead to heart disease. The higher the level of LDL , the higher risk for heart disease. That is why LDL cholesterol is often called bad cholesterol.

2.High density lipoprotein or HDL cholesterol

HDL also known as good cholesterol since it is believe to remove excess cholesterol from the blood. High level of HDL seems to protect against heart attack and reduce the risk of heart disease.

3. Triglycerides

Triglycerides are another type of fat in your blood stream. Persons with a high blood triglycerides may also have a high level of LDL, or very low HDL level.

How can I reduce my blood-cholesterol level?

Dietary Modification

You should limit the amount of saturated fat (meat, diary products, coconut oil) as well as cholesterol in your diet. take more high-fibre foods, such as vegetables, fruits, grains,. If possible, choose low-fat or non-fat dairy milk products and increase intake foods that contain mono and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Strict dietary therapy can lower total cholesterol by 5% - 10%.

Weight Reduction

If you are overweight, you should take steps to achieve and maintain your ideal body weight. Weight reduction helps to increase HDL Cholesterol levels.

Exercise

Regular aerobic exercise increases HDL level ("Good cholesterol)", reduces the risk of heart disease and can also help to control weight, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

There you go, my cholesterol talk. I know its boring. But it is important for me and for you. If you haven't had your blood test, please do so. Don't wait until you are 40, because its already too late.

Woke up, brushed my teeth.. berkobar2 nak siap cepat coz nanti kene queue panjang to service my car and to take my blood test result.

Suddenly Mr. Gobi called asking whether im on leave or at the office. hurm.. mesti dier da abes went thru my report.. tetiber terpikir sendiri, malunyer... mesti report tue mcm kanak2 tak cukup ilmu.adehh..

Abaikan, my stomach was calling for food.. head to the kitchen and i found nothing. no coco crunch, no bread, no bawang, but yeah, there's flour and egg, and baking powder and sardine. that'll be great!.. so, im now cooking pancake for my breakfast..!

.... tapi.....masak pancake adalah sangat lama.... sebab kene masak satu-satu... sob sob... sampai ader masa nak meng'update' blog. huhu... Alamatnyer, lagi lambat la nak gerak untuk service kereta... zZzzzz......

anyway, i guess, id better focus on my pancake before it'll get burnt. Bye y'all!

Despite of a great weekend cramped with tonnes of unexpected activities last week...

Saturday-nana's wedding-> monitoring house construction -> radio frequency&detoxifying session -> laser tag with dear friends

Sunday-Subang & Section 14 PJ breakfast with close cousins and grandparents ->open circle with Wardina -> Nana's wedding at De Palma..

...........this week is however the worst week ive ever gone through since i started working.

I was given only 3-4 days to complete my Fault Investigation report, where as the report is due a month after the failure incident. plus, an amendment for another FI report need to be completed by this week. Tonnes of drawings to be reviewed, Missing drawings from the contractors - miscomm, and today incident which i prefer to keep it as p&c...

I never raised my voice to anyone but I did, last Monday and Tuesday... time org tgh sebok, time tue la ngada2 nak bercakap.. mmg naseb tak baek la sape yg kena. On Wednesday i tried to calm myself down and went hang out with girlfriends, it went really well but today, doesn't seem promising.. The only reason that had made my day today is --- Today is my hari raya!!.. Alhamdulillah..ive completed my fasting..! ;) seronok sebenarnyer puasa nie...

Im hoping that Friday will turn out to be better than days before... and I just can't wait for the weekend.. ! Breaking Dawn, here we come!

Falling in Love Again?

Yes, I fell in love again! Alhamdulillah.. Im glad that Allah has given me the opportunity to know Him better, to be closer to Him, and to be a better Muslim... insyaAllah..

People often said "A good person will always be surrounded by good people. and yes, its true... im not saying that im good, but im lucky enough to have friends who constantly remind and share their opinions regarding our religion. Islam, that is.

.. and Thanx to my 'best'est friend, Ashikin who has introduced me to Young Muslims Project (YMP). YMP is sort of like an NGO where they often provide talks, open circles, & forums.

This is my second time joining YMP program. The first was during Imam Suhaib Webb came to Malaysia and he was giving a talk regarding Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and this is my second time. Wardina Safiyyah (yippy yeayy!) was there during the open circle.

The open circle is different from the "Tazkirah" i sometimes joined my mom back in my hometown. The open circle is not a one person talking but it involves all sisters. Besides that, The open circle was conducted in English... Man, all of them are superb in English.. like Heyy! are we now in Manchester?? (-__-)"

I would like to share 3 best points I captured during the open circle session:

1. Everyone makes mistake. Seek for forgiveness from Allah. Repent. Perform solat sunat Taubat. and Do not repeat the same mistake. Khalas!.....

2. Know the reason of why we are doing it. InsyaAllah, we'll find our ways to improve ourselves. Ask a simple question to yourself, eg. do you know why you solat? or you perform solat because your parents asked you to do it? Do you solat because you are afraid of Akhirat? any specific reasons? Please ask yourself.

3. “Ketahuilah, bahwa sesungguhnya kehidupan dunia ini hanyalah permainan dan suatu yang melalaikan, perhiasan dan bermegah-megah antara kamu serta berbangga-banggaan tentang banyaknya harta dan anak, seperti hujan yang tanam-tanamannya mengagumkan para petani; kemudian tanaman itu menjadi kering dan kamu lihat warnanya kuning kemudian menjadi hancur. Dan di akhirat (nanti) ada azab yang keras dan ampunan dari Allah serta keridhaan-Nya. Dan kehidupan dunia ini tidak lain hanyalah kesenangan yang menipu.” (Surah Al Hadid Ayat 20)

Its Nana's wedding today.. ill try to make it on time.. however, with my humble kembara, the fastest i can go is 100km/h.. but ill normally push the paddle up to 90km/h.. hahaha.. Snail.Me.I.Know.

I wanna make a declaration!..

Its just that, I wanna declare that November this year is a wedding month. Its wedding everywhere, here and there. Believe it or not, this month itself, Ive received 9 wedding invitations. 1 more invitation to go, to be a complete 10. I bet, sumer org nak nikah on 11.11.11.. Idul Adha, sacrifice

Idul Adha this year is not lyke the previous years. I didn't go for prayer and didn't wear baju kurung at all. Bukannyer tak boley solat, cuma tak pergi solat. Sacrifice.. Korban. Pengorbanan. That is what Idul Adha is all about.

Kalau tak, selalunyer Ill be one of the first person yang chop bilik air untuk mandi sunat and prepare for raya prayer.. but today, pukul 10 pon, i pakai baju tido lagi.

I learnt a lot today and also for the past few days. Too many first times in my life. Bila Tok sakit, it is somehow an eye opener for me. A lot of thinking, a lot of observations, and a lot of emotions struck myself..

Part of my thinking is, betapa perlunya berkahwin dengan lelaki yang baik (agamanya), supaya dapat membimbing isteri dan anak-anak ke jalan kebaikan. (yes, semua org tau kot bende nie.. but bila Tok sakit, baru I betol2 paham kenapa org cakap mcm tue)

Anak-anak yg soleh&solehah nie la yang akan tolong kite waktu kite sakit nanti.

Contoh paling utama: kalau sakit, mcm mana nak kite amik air semayang? husband tak boley amikkan air semayang. So, anak2 lah yang kene tolong *mak* yang sakit untuk amik air semayang.

Anak-anak yang soleh/solehah nie la yg akan sabar dan meluangkan masa untuk suapkan kite makan, mandikan, bersihkan hadas kecil & besar, bawak jalan2 menghirup udara segar..

Besides money, moral supports from family members (ie. anak2 yg soleh/solehah) adalah sangat penting in order to motivate ourselves from feeling down or devastated with life. Memang nampak remeh, but when it happens to you, ia tak semudah yg disangka.

.. dan byk lagi laa contoh-contoh laen..

Moral of the story:

Marrying a good husband (religion wise) is the first step to produce anak-anak yg soleh&solehah in the future (^__^)

Nak tau tak, I started to wear braces in 2007. That was just a week before I went to Mekah, for Umrah. I was worried jugak masa tue, because Syahmi said it was a bit of a pain in his early days of wearing braces; but believe it or not, I didn't feel anything. Sakit tak aper tak. Dah la siap kene cabut 4 batang gigi lagi and an hour after that, tros makan roti canai. elok jerk kunyah.. Dasyat kan? ;) and My Umrah, it was tremendous! braces langsung tak menjadi issue. Alhamdulillah..

Selingan kejap: orang selalu tanyer aper perasaan time pakai braces? sakit tak? malu tak?

For me, I rasa lagi confident biler pakai braces.

First sebab cool aper pakai braces, bukan sumer org boley pakai. haha..
Second sebab, tak ramai org pakai.. so, people will tend to recognize me better.
Third, braces topic is part of my conversation when im out of idea. ;p

The doctor said that, since Im in my 20s, so my teeth development is a bit slow compared to the youngster.. and the scar tissue akibat cabut gigi tue, cannot be closed. That is why I need to wear braces for almost 3 years and the only thing I can do to close the scar tissue is adalah dengan menampal gigi tersebut.. and there you go, I spent my 2 days of my holiday to the dental.. alang2 nak tampal gigi,.. baek buat whitening teeth tros. haha.. Bende2 yg membazirkan duet for unnecessary product, mmg hobi nombor 1 saya (^__^).

It feels so good to be home. Ive never had this super long holiday after I started working. Selalunyer, I amik cuti kejap2, atau amik cuti just because I need to go for vacation. But this time, one week straight.. minus the tender site visit I attended on Monday & Tuesday coz tender site visit pon dekat kampung halaman.. mmg terbaek la boley balik Manjung Indah Permai.

I didn't do much at home. Ibu & Syahmi is still at Penang, taking care of Tok Jah leaving Syauqi, Ayah and I at home. Ayah pergi kerja and balik umah buat kerja, Syauqi conquering the Astro Channel, and me - all the time adalah duduk dalam bilik, guling2 atas katel.. main internet and baru jerk blaja cara2 download movie (pathetic, i know!) but on top of that, I had fun eventho its just me and bed. Do you know that, there's no other place lyke ur own bedroom! *grin*

Yes, Im so0oo gonna missed my doing-nothing at home routine - Another 4 more days left for me to enjoy every second I have... (X_X)

My current must watch TV show is Suria Di Cordoba. Every Tuesday, 10pm, Astro Prima. I suke sangat cerite nie sbb cerite dier is more towards islamic and dierorg buat shooting dekat Spain; Madrid and Cordoba.

Saje nak interframe, Spain is the world's most popular tourist destinations because Spain is rich with history, outstanding architecture and various landscape. So, aper lagi.. mari kite kumpul duit byk2 and melawat Spain satu hari nanti! (i had my visit years ago.. maybe skang da byk berubah kot.. who knows.. ? but normally European sayang historical dierorg so they won't destroy the buildings and replace to a modern one.. unlike Malaysia. Simple example Pudu Jail.

I had site visits from Bedong to Bukit Minyak and now, lodging at Manjung Indah Permai-arrived an hour ago. It was raining the whole journey from Penang to Manjung. I will be continuing my visit tomorrow to Seri Iskandar and after that to Kuala Kangsar and then straight bercuti sampai Raya Haji. Bestnyer! I thanx Syahmi for accompanying me for today's site visit ;) Biler lagi, nak temankan? tak lama lagi da nak fly... ;(

I felt the emptiness without Chelsea around. That explains why Im currently in my room doing nothing and start blogging. No interesting tv show to watch, No Chelsea to play with, only Syauqi who's now conquering the TV; watching football (i guess) and Ayah.. as usual.. busy with his never-finished office works. Ibu and Syahmi is at Penang, taking care of Tok Jah.

I did blog about them early this year, 20th January to be exact. I follow their reality TV show on E cause I just love to see them both. Sweet couple, aren't they?

Recently i joined says.my and to my surprise, I saw a banner of "Giuliana Rancic is currently fighting for Breast Cancer". Those days when I watched E (skarang tak boley tgk, sbb kad astro ader kat ayah.. kat my house skang nie yg family package yg paling murah tue.. so da tak dek E -_-") most of their stories are on how they both struggle to have a baby and surprisingly now, Giuliana is diagnosed with breast cancer. Pity her. ;(

Looking fit and having one of the most interesting careers, Giuliana Rancic was all about living a year of fun this 2011. Planning to undergo IVF treatment to conceive a baby, Rancic was determined to have a child with husband, Bill Rancic even through her busy life as the co-host of E! News.

However, all plans came to a standstill this mid-October as Rancic's mammogram test revealed that the 36 year old host was diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer.

At a young age, Rancic was shocked with the life-threatening news and did not expect it coming. Not able to continue with her IVF treatment, Giuliana is still determined to have a full recovery and would still like to be a mother one day. A story of Chelsea

This entry is long and boring but I need to write them out because I want my thought about Chelsea remains forever ;(

Semalam malam ibu called from JB, she said she forgot to inform me on one thing. I said, OK, what is it Ibu? then my mom started her story: "Hari tue, ibu balik rumah.. ibu rasa sunyi sangat sebab kucing-kucing kat umah dah tak dek.. maybe Auntie **** bawak semua kucing ikot dier pindah kot.. Chelsea pon ibu tak nampak.. kalau tak dier slalu datang main-main dekat depan rumah.. then, esok, lusa ibu tunggu lagi Chelsea datang.. tapi Chelsea x datang2.. ibu pon pelik la.. ibu tanyer la jiran sebelah rumah.. then, jiran tue ckp.. laaaa.. tak tau ker yang **** bawak Chelsea pindah jugak??"

I was lyke... WHATTT????!!! How could she??! *My tears started dropping.. and i didn't feel lyke continuing the conversation. Im still sad until I dunno when.

It was 4/5 years back when Ulya's mother gave a new born Chelsea to our family. Ulya adalah kawan syahmi. Masa tue Chelsea was just a baby. I was in Uniten back then.. My mom was still working, Syahmi was at STAR, Ayah never likes cats, Syauqi was at India. So, no one was at home to take care of Chelsea except Ibu. Masa Chelsea kecik2, he was so0oo naughty that he likes to bite people and jumping like mad. Hyperactive, he was. Up to one point, ibu yang penat bekerja dah start malas nak layan Chelsea.

Ibu had a chit chat with our neighbour who is a cats lover.. She has more than 5 cats in her house. Ibu asked her if she wants to take care of Chelsea. She said, Yes. Then, since that day, Chelsea was at her house most of the time. But when Chelsea grew up, dier suke sangat datang our house. Ibu said, maybe bau dier ader kat rumah kite, itu yang dier suke datang. So, every now and then, dier mmg datang kat rumah kiteorg.. dier datang untuk makan, tido, play around, poo, tido, makan lagi etc etc. Ibu penah jugak cakap Auntie **** da ader kucing baru, so dier da abaikan Chelsea.. so, kiteorg pon jaga la Chelsea balik.

Ayah and ibu slalu sangat datang KL coz ayah ader byk meeting dekat sini. Dalam satu minggu tue, mesti ayah ader kat kl 2/3/4 days.. since ibu da berhenti kerja, so she'll always here to accompany my dad which left Chelsea alone at home. Last 2 weeks, my atuk in Penang had mild stroke so, ibu was at Penang.. ayah travels from Penang to KL and a bit of Manjung.. Coincidentally time tue, Auntie **** pindah to the east coast. Ibu ngan Ayah tak sempat jumpe dierorg pon masa dierorg pindah. Tapi, tak terlintas pon she'll bring Chelsea along without informing us... Devastated, is the best word to describe how i felt.

Chelsea got his name because both my brothers and my mom is Chelsea's biggest fan ;)
Ulya's mom said that baka Chelsea is from EU, sebab tue la size and rupa Chelsea lain sket dr kucing-kucing lain
He is a coward but acts brave in front of his friends
He was an easy going with me & Ibu but he takes time to familiarize with the guys and he won't enter the house when he saw strangers at home
Chelsea is everyone's favourite and he is like a lil brother in the family
I'll start to brag when I talk about Chelsea because I never had and love any cats lyke I love Chelsea and I'll never feel bored talking about Chelsea all day long
He eats inside the house when other cats are eating outside
He always want me to feed him ikan bilis and tuna instead of normal cat's food
He will always run excitedly when he saw our car enters the main gate; welcoming us back
He is so pampered that he loves us to pamper him all the time
He doesn't know how to pose/stand still in front of camera and it's so hard to capture his picture when its easy to snap pictures of other cats and that explains why I only had few collections of his photos.
He doesn't like to be hold and no one has ever held him for more than 5 minutes
He likes to follow everywhere I go- kitchen, washing machine, room and he sleeps on the bed
He like to poo on Syahmi's mattress, and akan terasa hati bila kene marah
I have never cleaned up other cat's poo, play around, sleep, pamper other cats lyke I did to you.. I am always excited to come back home cause I wanna see you. tapi sekarang Chelsea da tak dek... Im gonna miss you forever, and feels lyke going to the East Coast to kidnap you back..!

It was last friday, we went to Istana Budaya for 'The Secret Life of Nora' theatre. The theatre tells the story of a popular prima donna - Nora Zain who then being dragged into a spy training programme by secret agent Roger Foss in order to rescue the victimes from an evil -Mr. J.

Its a straight forward typical old-school detective story with tons of musical in between. hurm, i shall say PGL the musical is still my numero uno. and, and.... Tiara Jacquelina is seriously a hot mama! ;)

Family Vacation

I just came back from vacation -22nd Sept till 25th sept.. its a family vacation but without syauqi following us. he's currently sitting for his final exam that couldn't allow him to enjoy our Phuket vacation trip.

It was a 4 days 3 nite vacation at Marriott Mai Khao Beach, Phuket. Bak kata ayah, aper yg best kat Phuket nie adalah our hotel jerk.. yg laen adalah biasa.. haha.. let me give you a sneak peek of the hotel we are staying..

We had a relaxing vacation where most of our time is in the hotel. the hotel itself has various activities that should not be missed.. Here are some of them:

For Phuket itself, we only covered few places such as, Premium Outlet, MakProk Seafood (not sure of the spelling), Patong Beach, Mai Khao Beach, Central Festival, Bang Mud Seafood.. erk, i guess thats all.. serious tak byk berjalan.. hehe. i quote back what Ayah said.. Vacation is for you to relax your mind, body and soul.. not to hop on to bunch of places and leave no time for our body to have a peace of rest.. menarek.

So, kiteorg adalah super rehat yg sangat berehat.. do you get wut i mean? ;p

Im currently at my auntie's house sumwer in Gombak where the internet connection is lyke a 5 star hotel.. and that explains of the number of pictures being uploaded. and why Im in Gombak on the weekdays??.... ill explain it on the next entry as I need to pack my bag and return back to my home sweet home at DD. Yes, Im on EL today.

Manjung Open Table

Open House was held last Friday 17th September 2011. According to my dad, total of 107 came by. I am so happy (jumping on the bed mode turns on) when my special guests came all the way from KL. Excited+honoured, I was.

I pushed off from office at around 7pm.. Meeting dengan AM super lama.. siap kene hentam lagi.. terkapai2 keseorangan..

Arrived Bangsar at 8pm. Performed Maghrib prayer at nearby mosque.. and headed to Chawan.

I tot I was late, but only Shik who has arrived. Hani and Sharina arrived 10 minutes after me.

I was extremely exhausted that I didn't talk much.. super mengantok, otak berserabut dengan office's unsettled work.

ouh, tomorrow adalah my travelling day to Kuala Krai. I was told that, there is no hotel at Kuala Krai, so, terpaksa la tidur di Kota Bahru.. What a journey..

Saturday Morning

Its Saturday and we are still in kampung.. But currently we are now in JB.. Today is our second day beraya in JB. Waiting for mummy (my auntie) to come coz she wants to bring us to eat kacang pool (do i spell it correctly?) near the bomba station.

We ate seafood for dinner at tiptop, jalan mohd amin last nite with my dad's friend. We had ikan pari, lala, sotong goreng tepung, abc coklat, kangkung masak belaacan and hurm... I just cudn't recall the name of the food because there were so lotsa food. But the lala was superb!

My raya is full of food. Period.

I'll be back to KL this coming monday. If you couldn't recognize me, i am still the same old maisarah but with few extra fats in me

I safely arrived home at 5.15pm today. its gonna be a very long weekend. whole week of raya and whole week of non-stop eating delicious raya menu

Just now i dropped by office to take my organizer, office adalah sangat sunyi dan scary.. i suddenly feel lyke cuti semester whereby everyone went back to their respective hometown and will be back once the semester holiday is over..

Brought back my Fault Investigation report; hopefully i can manage to complete it within the given dateline... (mcm la sempat nak buat aper2 kan time raya? hehe..)

Yes, I was mad.

1) I pushed off early to the office, thought of going to the nearest petrol kiosk but i cancelled last minute because im afraid ill arrive late and couldn't find a place to park my car. I arrived at the car park at 7.40am, nicely parked my car and suddenly a guard, no.. 2 guards came by and told me that i shouldn't park my car here. the place is only reserved for TNB staffs who work here and not across the street. i told him that all this while, there is no problem of parking issues and why today? and where should i park my car if i cannot park it here? He then, replied rudely with a high pitch tone saying that its none of his business. All i know that you can't park you car here and where to park your car is for you to scratch your head and to think about it. pffft..

2) i went to the admin and complaint regarding what had happened to see if they can offer a helping hand. but all i get was......

Me: X, Nak tanyer la, kiteorg mmg takkan dapat parking ke?

X: Memang tak dek peruntukan parking untuk u all

Me: Sampai biler eh? sampai next financial year ker?

X: sampai pindah brickfields nanti.

Me: tapi kiteorg asyek kene marah jerk sbb park kat MPE. macam mana eh?

X: itu X tak tahu.

Me: takkan la nak bayar kot setiap kali parking. RM 6 satu hari.. kalau kene bayar sampai bulan 12.. da beratus2 da tue..

X: abestue, kalau tadi da kate tak boley park, then kena la bayar. nak buat mcm mana lagi? da mmg tak dek peruntukan.

All i can say is that they both just dunno how to deal and talk to people. Poor PR, i tell ya. My parents taught me to say Please when you are asking for help, Thank You when people offer you help and Sorry if you just cudn't afford to offer a helping hand.

Manners are very important because it shows what kind of person you are. I am a diplomatic person who don't easily jump in any circumstances. Im a person who listen and then only do my judgement. I'll talk nicely to people when I need help or giving help. Therefore, i expect people to do the same thing. I hardly use harsh words and I don't easily get mad to people. When i am mad, all i do is just to tell stories about what bothering me and laugh at it. ill surely feel relief the next second.

Im just being a lil bit sensitive towards people who are lack of manners. Probably they woke up early in the morning, rushed to the office and accidentally left their manners neurons at home.. and that explains why these people are lack of manners. I pity them.

My Mom called during Solat Jumaat last friday saying that she won't be cooking for berbuka. Besides, my dad had already invited Uncle Wan's family for berbuka puasa. Yippy Yeay!.. (happy mode turns ON) .....i simply knew that when my dad is inviting his friend for berbuka/dinner/lunch, it will always be at a special place.

... and the special place was at The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur!

The theme at Royale Chulan was more lyke Moroccan Arabian Night

i bumped into Pak Abu ..(famous wedding planner).. he was the man behind the theme =)

you'll only know Pak Abu if you watch Nona.. coz my dad and Uncle Wan was lyke.. Pak Abu, who? hehe

Food I ate and many more. shut up, i know ive spoiled my diet.. (-__-)"

my mom said i looked hitam berkilat.. (-__-)" haha.. hafta admit, I was at site two days in a row before she came.. wut can you expect? huhu..

The next day, on saturday.. we went to Hotel Seri Malaysia, Melaka for breaking fast with Syauqi and girlfriend, Fiqa for Syauqi's early birthday celebration.

ouh, my parents is coming over (again) next Tuesday.. maybe more Ramadhan buffet? but i shall say, i love my mom's cook better! (^__^)

Journey to Singapore

Going to Singapore for vacation was a sudden plan popped up from my mouth. It was in the middle of June when suddenly "Extremely wanting to go to Singapore" slipped through my mouth was considered serious when my officemate also had the intention to visit Singapore. A big Yeayy!

We kept on changing the dates, transportation and accommodation up to the last minute. It was not a planned vacation however its more lyke going there and see what we can do as tourists.. but we reserved Monday (25711) solely to visit the Universal Studio Singapore.

I invited a friend of mine, Hani to join. So the three of us pushed off to Singapore from KL Central on 22711 11pm by train and arrived Woodlands around 7.45am. Our initial plan was to store our bags at Che Yah's friend house (Jer) at Boon Keng. It was unfortunate for us because she had some other plan and will only be home in the evening. So, we were wandering around for places to store our bags. We went to shopping complex along the orchard road and hotels asking around if they do have lockers for visitor - No they don't. The hotel manager then, suggested to go to Mustaffa Center (near Farrer Park MRT) because they are providing place to store bags for visitors who are visiting Mustaffa Center. So, aper lagi.. kiteorg pon amik MRT from Dhoby Ghout to Farrer Park untuk ke Mustaffa Center and letak bag kiteorg. At last... tiada lagi bebanan untuk dikendong semasa berjalan2 dengan badan yg melekit satu hari tak mandi.... hahaha =) (tapi serious rimas giler)

We had lunch at ViVo City, and straight to Sentosa Island. It was super duper hot back there in Singapore on the day we arrived. I had headache and felt lyke fainting.. (hyperbola la pulak =p) We visited Merlion, and went for Luge and Skyride. It was fun tho! After the Sentosa Island ride, we went back to ViVo City, chilling around at CoffeeBean, did some shopping and off to Jer's house.

We arrived at Jer's House in the evening, clean up ourselves, washed our clothes.. watched Malaysia Vs Singapore in TV up to the 1st half and then off we went to Marina Skypark. We took a cab to Promenade and walked to Marina Bay Skypark. The entrance fee to enter the Skypark was $20. The weather up there was cozy during the nyte and the scenery on top of the Skypark was a total breathtaking. Fiuhhh.... I simply Love it!

The next day, we went to Merlion and Clarke Quay. Singapore is a total developed country where i shall say the public transport is tip top, the buildings reminded me of Europe, the system is in order, and Singapore is absolutely free from rubbish. Serious lawa giler Singapore! (^___^)

I planned to stay at my Uncle's house in Kempas on the 2nd nyte. Tought of staying over Atok's house in Majidee however since he's not available, my uncle is kind enough to offer us a stay at his house.. We had dinner at Singgah Selalu, Danga Bay and it was my first time going there.. pathetic kan? nama jerk kampung kat johor maisarah nie, tapi tak penah berjalan2 pon area johor.. asyek dok umah atok jerk.. sebab tue la atok sayang. hahaha (perasan)

The next day, my uncle and auntie sent us to Tune Hotel, Danga Bay because we've initially booked a bus straight from Danga to USS. The bus cost was only rm25 for a return ticket. how cheap is that?! and the bus was not lyke wut ive expected. The seat was leather, they provide tv screen and table for every seats and pendek cerite, mcm kapal terbang la dier punyer bus! serious terbaek!.

USS as a whole was fun. but, to go for the second time wouldn't be worth it. I found that USS is pretty small coz you can finish touring the theme park in a short time. We enter USS at 10am and straight away choose roller coaster as our first ride and by 5.30pm kiteorg da abes da tour satu USS. itu pon siap sempat makan2, lepak2, solat, amik gambar, tgk show, shopping, alih2 kol 5 da abes da sumer.. tros blur nak buat aper lepas tue.. so sambung lagi lepak sambil makan popcorn sampai la pukul 7pm.

Jer, Hani, Me, Che Yah

I never expect a last minute trip would turned out to be a blast and they - Jer, Hani & Che Yah had really make the trip wonderful - full of colours and laughter. Im loving it to the bits.. Going to Singapore for the 2nd time, would be an aboslutely Yes answer from me (minus the USS =p)

Today’s topic in HotFM is “Wanita Malaysia Tertekan sbb apa?” According to a recent study on stress levels, Malaysian women rank is at number 16 in the world. We are in the top 20, darl!.. How ‘cool’ is that?

I somehow agree though. For a single (not married) woman like me, there are not many things to be stressed out.. probably wanting - a brand new honda city? A fully furnished house? New facial wash? Gucci sunglass? LV handbag? Salvatore Ferragamo heels...can somehow lead to a bit of unwanted stress.. but for a married women, i believe there are tons of reasons that will contribute to a he*L lot of stress where I guess I'm not the right person to elaborate.. (since I'm not married yet, so i tak nak beria meng'elaborate')

For me, myself, the only reason that contributes to my stress level is my current weight. Im gaining and gaining weight coz i eat, eat and triple eat lyke nobody’s business. Who can resist a kambing golek depan mata, cream crackers cicah nutella, oreo cicah susu.. tempting desserts (tons of cakes, ice creams, waffles etc) enough to make my saliva dripping and the list goes..

I haven’t been to the park since past 2 weeks due to heavy workloads, outstations, parents coming over, girls-day-out and on top of all the excuses, laziness is the main reason why im lacking of exercise. *grin*

It was at her lil bro; Aaron Dani's cukur jambul I had delicious lamb black pepper which is so0oo hard to resist. Yummiest, it was.

Neway, Ramadhan is arriving in 2 weeks time. So, marilah kite berpuasa sambil berdiet.

p/s - ouh, another reason that contributes to my stress level is that.. i accidentally left my broadband at the hotel where Im staying during my outstation trip to Dungun last Thursday. Great, huh? im so0o paralyzed without a broadband. (-___-)"

After the traffic disaster i faced (yesterday), i then flew to Eiffel Tower, Paris to meet my loved one... Intan, that is.. baru la ala-ala cam dalam citer From Paris with Love

My Eiffel Tower is located at Citta Mall, Ara Damansara. Its an open space mall and i found the mall is pretty convenience & focussing on the family, from parents to baby. This is because, all the shops are located near the carpark to allow customers to just park and walk in. You can just park at a carpark nearest to the shop you are interested in and walk in.

Since Citta is still new, so they are offering free food for all customers... how nice! how can u resist a free popcorn & candy floss.. sangat rugi kalau tak amik!..

.........and they are also having free activities for the kids...... - Face Painting, Sun Catcher, and Sand Art

no, i mean free activities for ALL.. not just kids.. selalunyer, kalau ader activity camnie, golongan mak-mak, atau nenek2 yg lebey.. nampak tak makcik baju merah tue? ( tak clear sangat la dlm gambar nie ) dier da pangkat nenek da tue.. tapi slumber jerk join...

so, aper lagi, makcik baju biru nie pon, join la sekaki.. hey, it was a lot of fun, i tell you!.. kalau sape2 yg berfamily and still scratching their heads of where to go during the weekend, i would highly recommend you to bring your children to Citta Mall.. -simply because of the activities they are offering (the FOC is a bonus point).. kalau ikotkan the mall itself, tak byk lagi kedai yg bukak... the worker told me that, the mall might be fully filled up in month of December.

Hari Bersih?

I promised Intan to hang out with her on saturday (9th July 2011) without realizing that today; 9th July is equivalent to the Perhimpunan Bersih. ouh, well.. since promise is a promise, i still proceed with my plan of meeting Intan at her place in Subang. I pushed off from my house and i choose to follow NKVE instead of federal highway..

..and this is the result.. it was a disaster.. it took me almost 45minutes for a 5km drive. giler kan? dalam hati, menyesal plak kuar.. but neway, i never regret because its something to be remembered. at least i experienced the road disaster, police roadblocks, and none of us can get thru KL because the road to KL is blocked.. sape yg buat kenduri kawen kat kl today, mmg kesian la..

Sementara kerete gerak cam sipot, sempat gak abes satu chapter. ive been reading Ustaz Hasrizals' books and he kept on mentioning regarding this book in his writing. mmg da lama giler teringin nak baca buku nie, tapi malas nak beli. Tetiber dapat plak buku nie as a birthday present..(Terima Kasih!) bukan nak promote, but John Gray's book is absolutely a-must-read especially for couples who have problems in relationship/marriage..

I haf sumthing to tell. its regarding the Baju Kurung im wearing. i bought the baju kurung for my raya last year, and my 2nd time wearing it was during Gee's wedding in Kelantan last November. The Baju Kurung is full of labuchi from top to toe, lining, and it was sold at an affordable price.

Last week, i went to Amcorp mall looking for a scarf to suit with my Engr Nite Baju Kurung.. i went to the shop where i bought my Baju Kurung for raya last year because they are also selling scarfs. Guess what i found? the exact pink baju kurung i bought for raya last year is now selling at an extra hundred ringgit more than the price i bought last year.. mahal giler OK?! ingatkan harga rumah jerk sentiasa naek.. rupanyer, harga baju pon naek... (salahkan UKK... ader ker tulis DRM Tuesday 4th July??!>.<)

ok fyne, satu slide pon tak prepare lagi...! punyer la bertungkus lumus prepare slide and queuing untuk present time drm. slide da siap, straight away naek tunggu turn. im the last to present. baru intro, tetiber one of the committee tanyer, due biler project nie? i ckp, september. then he said, laaaa lambat lagi.. nanti la tunggu next drm baru present.. skang da pukul 1.50pm.. kiteorg sumer tak lunch lagi, ptg nie GM ader TWC...

These few days has awaken me up from dreaming. All this while I've been living in my own creation of "comfort zone". i am more than comfort with my surrounding that i sometimes forget the needs of a blocker in between to keep me extra alert if the lightning strikes.

I wasn't in a good mood yesterday - emotionally and mentally down. Went for jogging and i felt a lot better. Today is a bit of improvement than yesterday.. i did have few conversations with my colleagues in the office regarding what's bothering me.. and i somehow could take it easy and accept whatever may rises in the future. I believe its for the best though the evaluation wasn't fairly done.

Grabbed a java chip of grande frappuccino with Ashikin after office hours and expressing out myself has slowly fixed what's bugging my head and cherish me today. Thanx for being there for me. I owe you a big time! (^__^)

After a hectic day ive experienced yesterday.. (lemme rewind back wut happened on saturday)..

I woke up at 5.30am.. and pushed off to taman botani negara at 6.25am. Need to be there early because I was the bidan terjun for ajk pendaftaran..& senamrobik and then to ayam kampung, shah alam, then rushed to Japanese School Kuala Lumpur at Saujana Subang to meet Intan and after that to meng's house to fetch him for Jem's Akikah ceremony.. Next was to alamanda and finally to Alexis for birthday celebration... fiuhh.. wut a day..

Ive always wanted to go to Alexis to celebrate any special occasion and birthday celebration would be the most suitable moment... wanna know why? its because u can eat everything from starter to dessert for FOC coz your partner is going to pay the bill for you.. (^_~) how nice..! (sounds a bit mean, no? hahaha.. sekali setahun, aper salahnyer kan? kalau selalu, kopak la... huhu =p)

(Sunday) - The Curve with Meng & something I bought for myself (sportBand & nike+ running shoes).

I just gotta know about the co-relation between the nike+ running shoes and the sportband... Pathetic, I am... i'll always be the last person to know the latest technology as I am living in a different world... (-___-)" I blame myself for being lyke "katak bawah tempurung"-- its just me

... but neway, incase some of you who are living in the same world as i am, Do you actually know that you can place a sensor in your nike+ running shoes and it can track your running activity in terms of km, calorie, hour and pace? It impressed me when i first time gotta know about this and I immediately wanting to buy em the next day.. semangat kan? and there you go, my first time buying something for myself for my upcoming birthday - and i'm loving them to the bits! (^___^)

........... of course there will be sword barrel! Sword barrel moment is a must watch moment in every armed forces wedding and i'll be the most extra-excited person watching this moment. Siap ader goosebumps lagi. Padahal nak dekat berpuluh kali da tgk... al-maklumla, my dad kan was an ex-navy officer.

It was Nur Dalila Dato' Jasan Ahpandi & Leftenan (I supposed) Faris Syahmi's Wedding..

The best part of this wedding is that it's lyke a mini reunion for the Italian Project Team 1997-1999. Those days when we were staying in Italy, there were only 18 malay families and we were so0oo close back then. We went to the same school, the moms went to BAKAT together (kalau kat TNB, Bakat tue cam Pelitawanis), tarawikh and moreh together, visiting each other during the weekends, Europe tour together, Barbeque together and much more.. 2 years in Italy was totally a blast!

While I was busy capturing Dalila's photo, I bumped into Faris. Faris pon my friend time kat Italy. sebenarnyer nie da kali ke 3 terserempak dgn Faris. tapi kali nie jerk sempat sembang. being me, selalunyer kalau bertembung, konpem la I malas nak bertegur.. hehe.. and the funny part is, out of many places, he is actually working just besides my office (Menara Axis). Lawak Ok. sembang punyer sembang, tetiber I ternampak Uncle Aziz and Auntie Sarah cam melambai2 kat I. I was lyke... erk.. kena g panggil Ibu ngan Ayah nie.. segan la pulak nak jumpe dierorg sensorang..

Uncle Aziz said, dr tadi dier nampak I sebok amik gambar pengantin.. and i'm surprised that he still recognize me.

1st reason is because my name is almost the same as his wife's name. dolu time kat italy dier selalu buat lawak.. This is My Sarah >>> showing his wife and she is Your Sarah >>> pointing me to my dad. I was 13 years old back then.

2nd reason is, Auntie Sarah said my face doesn't change at all. Im still the same old Maisarah she used to know... *wink*

I still remember how Meng proposed me in February 2005. We've been introduced by our friends and it didn't take much time for him to propose me after the meeting up. He suddenly called and asked "Dah pilih tarikh nak couple ke blom?" I was lyke? erk, mamat nie suke kat ako ker?...(tp ckp dalam hati jerk la).. I was also looking for a boyfriend and there you go, my first ever boyfriend in my entire life (probably the last). We were friends for nearly a month before we started of our boyfriend and girlfriend relationship.. a lot of fights, crying, yelling, almost-accident incident, arguing, u name it but it somehow makes our relationship become stronger eventho the spark is sometimes gone along the way..

Meng was riding a 2nd hand motorbike, a yellow striking helmet and most of his t-shirts were torn out..exactly mcm kene gigit tikus. He claimed that hes poor and doesnt have enough money to buy nice clothes. There's this oneday he wanted to lend me his TV and asked me to drop by his house. To my surprise, he's actually living in a huge bungalow in BGR and I only gotta know about this after a year of our relationship... secretive he was and yeah, he was also in the same school as Lisa Surihani and her brother in sri inai... (saje jerk nak iklan kejap pasal Lisa Su.. hehe)..

One fine day, after hari raya festival I wanted to have something to drink at Bangi Kopitiam so, off we went. I parked my car and he suddenly saw his dad's car parked sumwer in front of Bangi Kopitiam. i was at my worst appearance and hoping that i could turn back time and dressing up accordingly.. and yeah that was my first time ever meeting his parents (2006). His dad did all the talking but his mom was a lil bit quite. I tot the meeting up was a success.. however, its not the way that ive expected.. one and only feed back i received from the parents was- your girlfriend has got a big **s. u've could have imagined how i felt during that point of time.. embarrass, i was..(until now)

From the negative feedback i received, i started to think for myself and my physical appearance. I need to do something and prove them wrong. There and then, I started going for jogging at teluk rubiah-nearby the beach and stadium with my parents especially my mom. When ive started working, I still continue my jogging because its just part of me.

I started to discover a suitable place for me to go for jogging a year ago which is after the 2nd Morning Walk for Health completed. I felt in love with the place and started to go jogging at the park. The major reason why i prefer to jog at the park is because its located just sumwer near my house.. if its diverting from my-going-back-home route, ill surely would've picked another place for jogging..

Being chubby and fat has change my life to become more sensitive towards health and appearance. I lyke myself now better than before. but sadly, i never thought that my life changing has affected other people life.

One thing that will drive me crazy and jumping lyke a little kid is simply this one letter word : DESSERT. u name it, from various type of cakes, tarts, fruits, ice creams, pancakes, waffles, puddings, jelly and the list goes on and on...DESSERT simply make my day!

Whenever I accompany my parents for a dinner buffet, the first table i'll tend to look for is (of course) the dessert tables.. I always have the imagination of swimming in a dessert ocean where i am covered with those freaking-licious various type of dessert and enjoying em to the bits. Benda-benda yang menggemokkan nie mmg kegemaran saya.. hehe

On Labour's Day, my family and I went to Mak Ngah's house in Klang. Mak Ngah has a daughter who is an expert in making delicious Dessert. So, everytime I went to Mak Ngah's house, i sentiasa berkobar2 untuk turut serta buat Dessert. From Doughnut to muffins to chocolate cake to egg tart to cheese tarts and many more... mcm mana saya nak kurus nie?? ouh, tapi yg peliknyer, anak-anak Mak Ngah sumer kurus2... -__-"
